Where better to join in the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence than in Second Life?!

This representation of the Allen Radio Telescope has realistic dimensions, with a primary reflector which is 21' x 24' and a 2.4m secondary. It is supplied here without some of the supporting rear struts to reduce the prim count.

The telescope offers a SETI-themed menu to anyone who clicks it, including the SETI website, Twitter, and a 12-minute YouTube documentary on the Allen Telescope Array. The website data are stored on a notecard in the product's Content (Edit mode) and can therefore be modified as required (up to 11 websites). The shroud can also be toggled on/off from this menu.
