Starfire's particles have had a redesign with some additions to allow embers.

Starfire is a hybrid rezzer and attachment tool to provide light.

It is a system that leans toward magical elements rather than mundane means of lighting, such as torches and lamps.

Included are five attachments:

• Three Handheld Starfire attachments with varied holds to be used in no-rezz areas.

• A Handless Starfire attachment for ferals and non-humanoid avatars to use without animations to break them.

• A Starfire HUD, to be used in rezz-enabled areas.

The handheld versions can be tinted, while the HUD has predetermined colours for the Starfire. However, the secondary function is tintable. We will get into that later.

Starfire takes advantage of Flexi Prims to portray fluid flicker movements. This was intended to make the handheld variants far more immersive.

The Starfire HUD provides you with two functions:

• Starfire: The rezzer in which you can produce one of the preselected Starfire colours to follow you around and move independently on its own.

These colours include:

White | Red | Yellow | Blue | Green | Pink | Purple | Orange

• Starcamp: A rezzer with a community function, in which you can rezz one of two bonfires to gather your friends around.

Rezzed Starfires can only be dismissed via simply touching them, or of course, if you manually choose to delete them. The end button in the Star-Lite HUD is to merely close the menu.

The Rezzed Starfires are SFX enabled. Holdables and Starcamp SFX can be toggled off via touch.

The Tifl scholars developed a method to harvest gas from stars, condensing it into holdable flames called Starfire. These shimmering flames were a staple in providing warmth and light on the cold moon of Muladhara.

Communal gatherings known as Starcamps featured grand bonfires of Starfire, visible from great distances. These camps became cultural hubs where Tifl shared stories, celebrated, and found solace. The Starfire and Starcamps symbolized the scholars' success in merging cosmic power with community spirit, illuminating both their paths and their bonds.
