Buttercup Cottage is a charming mesh home which would fit as well in a rural setting as in a suburban one. The footprint is 30 wide x 32 deep and it is about 170 prims depending on if you use the default size.
This box contains two versions of the house, with different sized doorways to fit large or more realistically scaled avatars. Large doorways = about not 170 LI, smaller About 163 LI.
The furniture is not included, but read on for some special discounts.
Buttercup Cottage's colonial façade with its farmer's porch is like a slice of warm apple pie. The birds sing and move on the birdbath, the flowers scent the air. The front porch area is brick in a herringbone pattern and is spacious enough for your outdoor furniture. Four white columns detailed with scroll capitals support the shingle roof.
Inside the double doors is a small entrance or foyer with room enough for some fun décor. The living room is large and has a lovely bay window. The floors are done in a birch hardwood and overhead are contrasting beams of walnut.
The bedroom is a generous size with high ceilings and is suitable for a suite of furniture. There is an attached bath area with a bay window and room for a soaker tub, shower, dressing table. The bathroom set comes with a 20% discount when purchased with the home.
Take a look inworld at this superb smaller sized cottage which is also available in alternate colors (Mockingbird Cottage, Americana Cottage).

MODIFYING YOUR HOUSE
~Please read: http://lagalleriasl.blogspot.com/p/second-life-homeowners-guide.html and KEEP YOUR HOUSE LOCKED IN THE OBJECT TAB WHEN NOT MODIFYING IT.
~You can adjust the transparency of the curtains in the doors by selecting the face and turning transparency up or down in the texture tab.
~A mesh home is built very differently than a regular prim home in several ways. In this home, for example, the inside and outside walls in this house can be tinted two separate colors. The house's base color is off-white, so it can be tinted any color darker color-- just select an individual wall and choose your color. Tinting your house different colors is fun.
~While the whole house can easily be stretched larger, I do not recommend stretching individual walls because that may cause the textures to get messed up. You can, however, unlink and copy walls and the connector columns where exterior walls meet, and use them to build other things.
TROUBLESHOOTING NOTES:
~ Please keep your house LOCKED in the Object Tab of Edit, ~ Bookmark my Homeowners guide http://lagalleriasl.blogspot.com/p/second-life-homeowners-guide.html
~ Some graphics card and viewer combinations cause problems when selecting the entire house; you can temporarily uncheck the Selection Option "Outline Selected" or "Highlight Selected", usually found in the Build or Tools menus.

It was a hard decision to choose.
I love La Galleria homes. I had a very difficult decision to make on which home but this one seemed to be one of her most recent builds and it shows! Great detail! Very realistic. I also like not having png windows, many builders have png windows which clash with trees or landscaping.
I was suprised tho that this was not on a rez box, so in her description it states to have the rez box out for updates. Guessing she will send updates by purchases. I recommend these homes for anyone looking. Great choices! Detail is spot on :)
Jaw-dropping, gorgeous house
I bought several houses from this designer to set up a sim. This house has a great layout with good sized rooms. The mesh is really well done and the textures are high resolution. I love the fact she left the stucco walls white so you can tint them (outside and inside). The brick outside with that birdbath is something that makes the house really stand out.
I am noticing more mesh houses that do not allow you to edit them well because of how the mesh is all connected. That is nice when saving prims but not nice if you like to move walls and customize your house a little. La Galleria houses are made where you can easily modify them.
