Ballinger's Cape Cod Cottage2 is based on the typical colonial houses in that region. I has a central block that was first built in the early 18th Century, with additions added later.

Through the front door, you enter the Foyer. To the right is the Sunroom, a later additon, showing the original shingles on one wall. To the left, enter the Living room, with fireplace and double doors leading to the 19th century Veranda. Beyond is the Dining Room, with fireplace and imported wallpaper, with French doors leading to the garden terrace and a large opening to the Kitchen. All rooms on this level have access to the outside.
Upstairs, through double doors, is the Master Bedroom, which would have been expanded by the large Dormer. A sliding door leads to the ensuite, which is definitely a 20th Century conceit, and a secret door leading to a small Hidey-Hole.
Doors are owner-controlled by editing, contents and opening the Door Setup page.
Shutters open at a touch, with the windows opening by means of touching, the first time, and waiting for them to set, then just touching to open or close.
