Bright Dispenser - Public dispenser/'giver' of free items: objects, clothes, landmarks, anything!

The Bright Dispenser is simply a box which can hold a range of items for free distribution.

Drag it from the ground to rez it. You will see a black box with two silver arrow buttons. Over the box floating text will read...

"Item 1 of 8: Can of Budweiser
Please click the box to receive it."

To receive your Bud, click the box. To see what else it contains, click the arrow buttons. It's as simple as that.

Loading the dispenser is just as simple.

Right-click it and click "Open", and a "Contents" window will appear. As supplied, the dispenser is stocked with a selection of drinks.

Simply delete the items you don't want, and drag new ones in from your inventory. The dispenser can handle items of any kind: objects, clothes, animations, sounds, landmarks, even scripts. (It is clever enough not to give out it's own script, don't worry :) )

And that's all there is to it!

TIPS

* The dispenser is modifyable: replace the Bright Corporation logo on its sides by applying your own favourite texture.

* Remember that to give an item away, it must have copy and transfer permissions.

* Don't put too many items in a single dispenser: it will work perfectly well, but clicking your way through 50 articles of clothing can be tiresome. Consider rezzing separate dispensers for pants, shirts, skirts, and shoes.

* Be imaginative! If you're offering drinks, stretch the dispenser box up to avatar height and apply a texture showing a picture of a smooth barman or gorgeous bar girl. If you're offering food, shape it like a fridge or store freezer.
