The Easiest Possible Confetti Machine. The above pic is an actual screen-shot (minus the words).
Rez the confetti orb up in the air, and click it. You will get a menu asking for the size of the confetti you wish to create and then the fun begins. Just click it again to stop the confetti.
Initially, the radius of the confetti is set to 5 meters (the distance from the orb that confetti will be dropped). You can change this radius to anything between 1 meter and 25 meters. If you make the radius larger, you will probably want to create larger confetti, just to keep a nice effect. Just select "Set Radius" from the menu (after clicking) to change the radius.
Also, initially, the confetti orb is set to work only for the owner. However, the orb can be changed to work for anyone. To change this, select "Permission" from the menu (after clicking).
No matter how the permissions are set, only the owner of the confetti orb will ever see the "Set Radius" and "Permission" options. If permission is set to "Anyone", all others will just get the selection of different sizes of confetti to drop.
The script is not modifiable, but the confetti orb is. If you wish to resize or re-texture the orb, you can do this.

This confetti machine is just great. I love the effect of the colourful confetti falling from the ceiling. Makes a super party atmosphere. Click on. Click off. Great. Just what I was looking for. Five full stars.
