]BD[ - Cozy Cabin - M/C/NT - Boxed

I just love this cabin! I've been moving in and decorating and I can't get over how lovely this is. Amazing textures and design. And the bathroom is so roomy I was able to turn it into a rustic spa with a tub, shower and a hot tub!

Unfortunately, I cannot concur with other reviewers - the house has parts that have very poor LODs. Due to this, the doorframe as well as other parts deform and reveal black areas in underlying textures at very short distances away from the house. At this price point, this is an unacceptable flaw that ruins the product - I've bought houses significantly cheaper and with similar LI that did not LOD issues nearly as grave as this house has. I'm aware that I could "fix" this issue by changing the Object LOD factor in my viewer - but this isn't an adequate solution for when you want to use this in a non-private area, since I can't require people to change their graphics settings like that. I regret not looking closer at the model in the store.

As it stands, given the rather high price point for what is offered, I cannot give this item more than one star. Since the doorframe already disappears at a distance of 13 meters (and that's with Firestorm's LOD factor of 2, twice the standard viewer's), I wouldn't even deem it suitable for use in a skybox.

I will update or remove this review if the problem is rectified by the creator.

Bought this log cabin about a week ago and I love it! I have had several houses in sl but this one is by far my favourite. It's well built and totally gorgeous. Worth every penny.
