Perfect for my photo studio/gallery

This build is one of my favorites in all of SL actually. The review given on it earlier about the pros/cons is spot on. I'm personally giving this a 5 star review though because it was perfect for me for a year. Investing in a second RageWorks build for a new look now! Quality is obviously important to this creator!

This is my 3rd RageWorks buy and I've never been disappointed - this is another stunning design which offers loads of detail and a great size for such low LI. Just perfect for me, thank you for your awesome work!

Efficient, but limiting

Pros:
+ Efficient (8 prims, 27 LI)
+ Clean, contemporary style
+ Affordable (L$1k)
+ Is Copy/Mod (with restrictions)

Cons:
- Irregular doorways (3 different sizes)
- Limited customization (texture facets cover multiple surfaces)
- Average quality pre-baked lighting (visible grain in textures)
- Full Bright (walls look grey when disabled)

Review:

I have been making use of the Cubic for a handful of months as a low-impact alternative to the Greenwitch by Maven homes.

While I like the contemporary style and open floor plan, there are three issues which leave me feeling limited: Namely the irregularly shaped doorways, the inability to color individual walls, and the requirement of Full Bright.

I can accept the first two points given SL's lack of weather and the properties of Mesh, but I have a personal grievance regarding the enabling of Full Bright on non light-sources. For example, the Cubic looks fine at Midday, yet try to use any other setting and the build stands out like a neon sign. This trait extends to most, if not all, of Rageworks homes.

Retexturing is not a viable option as the Cubic relies on pre-baked renders made specifically for the mesh model. At best you can tint the floors as I did, giving them a warmer or darker tone versus the cool default wood.

Despite its flaws, the Cubic does serve my needs and may prove a good value to those who don't mess with daylight settings and are looking for an efficient shop, photo studio, or gallery.

Gorgeous, great value for money and low prims too. I probably sound like a shill haha but I bought this ages ago, just saw it again and remembered to review it.

UNREAL

This house is amazing - was looking for a low prim house and this was the 1st I saw. Went to the platform to view it and purchased it within minutes. Spacious, Baked Textures & Large rooms. Now I have had a lot of Low Prim homes, But this one at 27 Primitives is BY FAR THE BEST!!!
Well Done RageWorks <3
