Linden Home owners, this item is made especially for you. The problem with the window controls for Linden Homes is that there is no individual settings for windows. Either all of the curtains and blinds are closed, or none of them are. Often you just want to close the curtain for a window or two where your neighbors are uncomfortably close, but leave other windows open for the nice view. This item provides a curtain for individual windows with only a single prim for the window. Specifically, the window includes a script to open and close the curtain for the window to which it has been applied. Click on the window and you are presented with a menu to either make the curtain visible or clear.
The prim in this item may be modified and copied, including the texture. Only the script in the window may be not be modified, but may be copied and the window may be re-sized and the texture changed as you wish and copied. You may choose between curtains, blinds, shutters, Japanese screens, wizard glass, and other textures. For your convenience, complete texture packs are included with this item for each of the four themes for Linden Homes. These texture packs are provided for free by Linden Labs at the infohubs for each of the four themes. Accordingly, you may use the same exact Linden Home textures to match the decor of the rest of your Linden Home. Also included is one non-Linden Home texture (green drapes - pictured).
Update December 2, 2010: Some customers requested a modification so that anyone in the residence could open and close the curtains or blinds as opposed to just the owner. The item has been modified so that it is either operable by only the owner or by anyone in the residence. Install whichever you prefer or both.

Lovely item, only one issue
And that is a minor one- really.
Faced with choices as to which curtain to get, I got this one, and being that I was confused I think I wanted to get the one that had the multiple texture choices in the menu, not just invisible and closed. Ah well, my mistake for not reading closer.
This one has several single curtain options, not combined together. It has the Linden Homes texture packs included as a service to the buyer. The prims are mod and copy. The script works. I am overall happy with the purchase (although I bought the wrong one).
I was very pleased with the curtain texture, as it fits with my modern styled home, looks rich and elegant without being too fussy, and is amazingly the correct shade of green.
Now if that texture had been provided loose to be applied to my own mega prim I would have been ecstatic. That and/or the texture in other colors would be delightful. But 5 stars to the maker anyway, because this product is lovely and well worth the 9L.
