If you can't decide between window coverings or simply like a wide selection of choices, this item is for you. It provides twenty (20) different choices, including the most popular individual selections (see related items).
This item switches between different window coverings upon touch, such as between drapes, an open window (transparent window covering), vertical blinds, horizontal blinds, shutters or Asian decorative screens.
The item provides coverings for individual windows with only a single prim for the window. Specifically, the curtains include a script to open and close the curtains for the window to which it has been applied. Click on the window after applying the prim and you are presented with a menu for 20 different window coverings, plus the ability to change transparency of the window covering:

Opacity changes the transparency of the window covering between three different levels. Each time you select it, it changes the transparency level by one step, until it gets to the end and then it starts again from the beginning level.
The item is programmable. You may program it by dragging additional textures from your inventory into the item, deleting ones you have no use for, and/or renaming them. After you have added your textures, the item will display those textures as additional choices on the menu. Just be sure to rename the additional textures to something short as menu entries are limited to a total of 24 characters for each entry. Further, only 22 entries in total are allowed on the menu.
You may prefer blinds that are dark brown. In this case, you could add a texture for dark brown blinds, rather than light brown. You may prefer white curtains that show a double pane, in which case you could the texture for double pane white curtains. For your convenience, complete texture packs are included with this item for each of the four themes for Linden Homes. These texture packs are provided for free by Linden Labs at the infohubs for each of the four themes. Accordingly, you may program your item to include many high quality textures from Linden Labs to match your home or workplace decor.
The switcher may set such that only the owner may operate it or anyone may operate it. By default it is set for anyone to operate it. To set it so that only the owner may operate it, edit the switcher click the content tab and edit the notecard entitled "Application.Config". In the notecard you will see the line "anyone = yes". Change yes to no and save the notecard and the switcher thereafter will only allow the owner to operate it. It may be switched back at anytime by changing yes to no in the foregoing line of the notecard. You may also set it for operation only by the land group, which is the default setting.
The prim in this item may be modified and copied. Only the script in the prim may be not be modified, but may be copied and the prim re-sized and rotated as you wish and copied to fit windows of different sizes.
It is especially attractive for Linden Homes. Try increasing the thickness of the switcher to about 0.60 meters so that it covers both the outside and inside of the windows so that the windows look attractive from both inside and outside the home.

Love it, best item i have purchased in ages, Each panel is only 1 prim no matter what size you stretch it to, so many texture choices for your windows, drapes, blinds, shutter etc, love the Asian theme textures. I live in a very plain apartment with white walls and used the paper texture and moved it flush behind the kitchen appliances and it looks like a panelled wall, also in the bathroom. what a difference it made and it doesn't change when i open and close my windows. You can do your whole house and not worry about them all changing at the same time. So glad i bought this, window problem solved forever and a great price as well. Thank you so much.

it's the best curtain/screen i've seen in the market or anywhere. you can stretch it to fit anywhere. comes with great textures or you can use your own. it's very versatile and it's a steal for the price.
