The Diamond DV20/DA20 Katana is an Austrian-designed two-seat tricycle gear general aviation light aircraft. Developed and manufactured by Austrian aircraft manufacturer Diamond Aircraft, it was originally produced in Austria as the DV20.
The DV20 shares many features from the earlier Diamond HK36 Super Dimona. It was introduced to service during 1993. During the 1990s, production of the type was commenced at a new facility in Canada in order to meet demand for the type within the North American market. The Canadian-produced aircraft are designated as the DA20. It has been a relative success on the market, having sold in excess of 1,000 aircraft by 2008 and multiple improved variants of the DA20 have been developed. Additionally, it has been further developed into the four-seat Diamond DA40 Star.
Beware that this is a smaller plane. Extreme high avatars may poke through the roof of this plane. I like realism, and most avatars in SL are not realistic when it comes to hight. So beware of this!

Great to learn on or just to enjoy the skies!
This looks just like the RL one! It handles very well and is great for new pilots or for just cruising the skies. The physics are good, the HUD great and it crosses sim lines well. I've taught three people (and counting) how to fly in SL with this plane.
great for someone new to flying
minor glitches , but for 10L its perfectly fine. If you want to see if you enjoy flying buy this plane and see before spending lots of hard earned Lindens on expensive planes. you can even texture this plane with your own custom designs, great value

Some developers are good. Some are excellent. Maybe not the easiest person to deal, but she speaks her mind. Get all her planes, you are getting a part of SL history! And really for 10L what have you to loose?
