E-Segue Version : see Contents

The purpose of this product is to promote & encourage the responsible use of green energy. It is scripted to be used in conjunction with the Energy Storage System or replacement E-Batteries (see Related Items below).

Usage

To use the E-Segue, simply add/wear from inventory. If you accept the default attachment point in this way, which is 'Pelvis', adjustments to the product can easily be made to suit your avatar size and shape. In 'Edit linked' mode the control shaft rotation and length can be adjusted to ensure that it is directed towards your hands, and the handlebar moved up or down (along the blue z-axis) in LOCAL orientation.

The E-Segue comes with a charge of 1.0kWh, and consumes a standby power of 0.1kW when stationary and a power of 0.5kW when it is running. The energy remaining is constantly updated and announced when the owner adds or detaches the E-Segue.

Movement is controlled by normal avatar motion and a dialogue menu offers:
* Report: state energy left
* Recharge: receive daily energy allowance from the ESS
* Replace: battery replacement if ESS is unavailable

To recharge the E-Segue at any time, it should be worn or rezzed within 20m of the Energy Storage System, and then clicked for the menu. The ESS allowance is specified by the owner of the ESS.

The scooter has modify permission so you can change colours, textures, etc. as desired, but the scripts are no-modify.
