Emergency Hairbase Version 1

These are tintable bangless hairbases for hairstyles where (for one reason or another) the scalp peeks through where it shouldn't. Under ideal situations, the hair creator has supplied you with a hairbase or alpha that should work perfectly with your hairstyle, but creators are human beings, and sometimes their provided alpha or hairbase doesn't fix the problem.

Wear the hairbase, go into appearance mode, and color it to match the hair you're wearing. Lighting during appearance mode may be brighter than normal environmental lighting, so go a little darker, and bring down the saturation a bit until you get an acceptable match. (Hairbases are usually a bit darker than the actual hair, so erring on the dark side is going to be less noticeable than erring too light.)

If you're having problems with your forehead pushing through your hairstyle, consider changing the slope of your Forehead Angle for shapes to be worn specifically for that style. A hairbase is not going to fix the problem as nicely as dropping the slope of the Forehead angle to accommodate the hairstyle. Forehead Angle is the least drastic of the head parameters, and dropping the slope enough to fix the problem should not drastically alter the shape of your face.
