Notes on Land Editing
----------------------------------
Fort Stronghold was originally intended to be bedded into the Second Life terrain, firstly to improve its appearance by making it work with its landscape but more importantly to save prims. 2 versions of the fort are supplied in this release; the first is the ‘Original’ which once placed in world requires the land around it to be edited to make it fit neatly. This may require some practice to get right.

The second version has been edited with 35 additional prims to allow it to be placed on a flat surface. This version is intended for areas where land editing is not possible or not preferred. The additional prims around the bottom of the walls are added as extra linked objects and can be edited or removed later if you wish to modify your environment. As a by-product of extending all the walls to fit a flat surface additional space has been created below the fort adding more possibilities for use. Features associated with this additional space are outlined in the owners’ notecard which is available after purchase.

Doors & Ladders
----------------------------------
All the doors, trapdoors and staircases (except the 3 staircases in the Main House) are scripted. The staircases when touched fold up to the ceiling to save space. Touch a second time to lower them. All these items use ‘Timeless Door scripts’. These can be personalised with sounds, actions and access lists. Please see the notes withing the scripts on how to edit these scripts which can be found at the top of the script of each individual door. Please note these scripts are 'Open Source' and as such no support is provided.

The Fire place within the main house is scripted to operate. 'Touch' it to ignite the fire and start the smoke from the chimney. 'Touch' it a second time to stop the effects.
