Furious Findalike is a simple HUD that searches your surroundings for objects and avatars whose names begin with the search term you enter. It reports to you privately in chat when items are found, and provides a clickable SLURL to their location.
Furious Findalike is part of the Furious Modular HUD collection. It can be linked with other Furious Modular HUD components, producing a single multi-function HUD that only takes up one HUD attachment point.
How to Use:
To activate the HUD, right-click the "Furious Findalike (Add)" object in your inventory and choose Add from the menu.
To start a search, click the HUD and enter the your search term. The HUD now searches for objects and avatars with a matching name and reports back to you with their precise locations via a private chat channel. A soft beep is heard when an object is detected, allowing you to focus on moving about.
To change your search, click the HUD again and enter a search term, or leave it blank and just press Submit if you want to clear the search and reset the HUD.
Notes and Limitations:
• The HUD searches for objects and avatars whose name starts with the search term you enter. The search is case-insensitive.
• Search is limited to the current region only. Move to the next region to search there.
• Search range is limited to a 96m radius. This is the maximum allowed by LL.
