In his novel "Snow Crash", Neal Stephenson first described the "Gargoyle." This was the street name for an intelligence agent who spent his days wired to the hilt: wearable computers and communications equipment, and goggles so he could be logged into the Metaverse at all times.
My Gargoyle line is a re-interpretation of Stephenson's concept into the realm of post-apocalyptic SteamPunk. High tech powered by miniturized steam motors.
This wearable computer straps around your waist. A stack of CDs are tied to the right-hand side just above the CD ROM that straps onto the upper right thigh. (CD ROM Included.) The left side of the Belt holds a computer screen on an extendable arm. Whnever you type on the main chat channel, the screen extends and your Avatar types directly upon it's touch-screen.
