In his novel "Snow Crash", Neal Stephenson first described the "Gargoyle." This was the street name for an intelligence agent who spent his days wired to the hilt: wearable computers and communications equipment, and goggles so he could be logged into the Metaverse at all times.
My Gargoyle line is a re-interpretation of Stephenson's concept into the realm of post-apocalyptic SteamPunk. High tech powered by miniturized steam motors.
The Gargoyle on-type Computer Gauntlet is a wearable computer- including a screen and keyboard. When you type on the main chat channel, the Gauntlet overrides the standard SL typing animation.
