No one knows what caused the mysterious explosion at the Academy for Research and Scientific Exploration. Half a dozen fire crews were called to put out the resulting blaze. The police suspected arson, but no charges were ever brought. No one died, but for the 48 students who were working there that day, life changed forever.
Ian Irvine and Imogen Ireland were involved in the Academy's nano-technology research, specialising in miniaturisation. Radiation from the blast saturated their bodies and imbued them with the ability to shrink themselves to a fraction of their regular height. They became Iota.
The costume comes with a tiny mesh avatar. To use it, remove all prim attachments and wear the mini avatar. You'll also need to wear the Alpha layer to hide your regular body.
The mesh avatar will crush your body down as it fits to the joint positions. It contains a set of undeform animations which trigger automatically when you remove it.
There is sometimes some lag between what you see, and what others see, when you remove the costume. You may see yourself return to normal, whilst your friends will still see you crushed. For best results, you should store a copy of your shape in the Iota folder and wear it when you use the costume. When you remove it, switch back to your original shape.
If for any reason you fail to return to normal, logging out of Second Life and back in will always fix your avatar.
This costume is part of a brand new and unique series, the New 24 Alphabet Heroes, created exclusively by Heroes Clobber to celebrate 10,000 costume sales. Visit the store in world for the complete range and occasional special offers!
