Welcome to The House of 1001 Tantrums ~ A Seraglio.
"A seraglio is the sequestered living quarters used by wives and concubines in a Turkish household. The term comes from an Italian variant of the Persian saray رای meaning palace, or the enclosed courts for the wives and concubines, or the harem of a house or palace. The term harem is also used to refer to these sequestered living quarters.
The Seraglio may refer specifically to the residence of the former Ottoman Sultans in Istanbul. The term can also refer to other traditional Turkish palaces — every imperial prince had his own." - Wikipedia

Exotic, decadent, mysterious ...the intriguing enclosed, sensual world of the Harem.
Through the gilded gate lies a delicate and ornate palace for pleasure that seems to echo to the sound of music and laughter.
On the ground floor is a grand central salon, for entertaining guests. Decorated in fabulous Moroccan tiles, it has a sunken dance pit lined in mother of pearl. At one end under a vaulted arch is another ornate audience chamber and at the far end, a balustraded walk way leads you out to the stair tower that climbs to the other floors.

On reaching the next floor, an enclosed bridge, lit with pierced stone windows, carries the priviledged visitor onto a landing area with a balcony that overlooks the salon below. Diaphanous gold curtains hide the watcher as they spy on the visitors beneath. Either side, are audience rooms, intimate spaces for private trysts, lit by flickering filigree lanterns and glimpsed through more pierced harem windows.
Walk down the airy columnade to where the grand master chamber, decorated with intricate stucco and blue tiles, hides its secrets behind shimmering gold curtains.

Climb the stairs again to the spacious roof terrace where gold minarets glitter in the sun and a central dome shields a tiled, star-shaped pool for bathing.

The structure includes optional hanging lamps designed specifically for the building.

The textures are rich and beautiful and many have been custom made: Aged, richly decorated stucco exterior and contrasting interior walls. Cool tiled marble floors. Delicate, patterned Arabian plasterwork; sumptuous, decadent tiles, gilded reliefs, inticate filigree pierced windows and vibrant Moroccan tiles that bring the whole palace to life.

This building is highly detailed, sensual, aged and has a sense of mystery. Designed to be used either as a truly decadent home, or for use in all types of role playing. It would be a Harem, palace, inn, bazaar, shop, club, ...your imagination is the only limit.
