Now you can choose to monitor stock levels of certain cargos at your GTFO! Hub.
Select your preferred cargo from the wide range that people ship within the GTFO! freight game, and now you can monitor the virtual stock level of those items. For roleplay purposes you can specify that you have some 'in stock' and need it shipped out, or you can show low stock and that you need people to bring it in for you.
You can also specify a preferred trading partner for each commodity, which with collaboration with other hubs has potential to create trading routes between facilities, and encourage players to visit your partner hubs. I hope this gives opportunity to 'advertise' in your roleplay circle that you have cargo in need of shipment, and encourage group-play and new exploration.
In the box there are 3 versions of the sign - they all do exactly the same function, but the smaller ones use less land impact if the full size one is using up a few too many of your prim allowance. The smaller signs just have less lines of stock inventory on display.
Each sign contains a notecard into which you paste the titles of up to 10 cargo types to form your 'shortlist'. The owner of the sign can then set cargo, quantity and preferred partner by clicking the small arrow at the left end of each line on the sign itself to open a dialog menu.
A master list of cargo types is included - choose cargo that you know players are hauling to your hub, as some cargo is specific to certain hubs/vehicles. The GTFO Activity Sign I make (not included - please see my other products) is a good way to see what commodities are popular among players.
When players pick up or unload an item on your stock sign, the amount they carry will then be added/subtracted from your Actual Stock.
If your Actual Stock is greater than your Target Stock, you are 'exporting' that item.
If your Actual Stock is less than your Target Stock, you are 'importing' that item.
If the Actual and Target stocks are the same, you have reached the stock target.
The sign updates itself for import/export according to those figures.
Your stock levels can be between 0 and 999 of each item.
Re-Sizing :
You can use the SL edit tools to 'Stretch' the signs to make them bigger/smaller.
Land impact will remain the same, even if you make it a LOT bigger.
Notes :
1. You need to have an active GTFO Hub on your land. If you don't know about the 'get the freight out' game, join their group and join in :-)
2. DO NOT LINK THE SIGNS TO OTHER OBJECTS. This will not save any land impact, and will really mess up the sign.
3. We cannot force a player to deliver to a preferred hub partner, but it will be a good way to drive traffic between hubs for roleplay, especially if hubs collaborate to be importing/exporting matching cargos with each other.
4. At the moment, data available is the number of packages delivered which sometimes might appear to be out of scale with the vehicle type. This is currently a GTFO! limitation but this may well change to reporting Freight Units instead. If this happens, I will issue an update to the sign to suit.
5. If you take a sign back to inventory, it will remember all its data.
6. You can use multiple signs if you wish, to have more different commodities listed.

Very nice add on for our Hub
It is a very nice add on for the GTFO Hubs.
Anyway i would like to use the biggest, but the Land Impact is really too much, so i use the smallest. I wish a day it will be optimized if it s possible
Nice add-on to GTFO! hub
As a hub owner I can put on the board those cargo types which I most like freighters to export or import, and freighters can then - if they like but there is no obligation of course - select something of those cargos at their GTFO! hud if that cargo is suitable for their vehicle. (In the hud you can select first the hub where you are going and then the cargo type which you like to take with you pressing 'Next' or 'Prev' buttons, even though there seems to be some randomness how hud offers the cargos, so it's possible that you after all doesn't get just what you want.)
All in all this board is fun feature to add to GTFO! hub.
Works and is a neat GTFO! addition
You of course only can list goods that are in the GTFO! database on this board. The list comes together with sign of 3 different sizes. According to the manual it is possible to use more than one board (but that is prim heavy!) at the same time, so theoretically it should be possible to manage the whole GTFO! goods list - using more boards. Or you pick the freight which you know often is delivered at your hub. You can also build networks with associated hubs - or work with "any hub". If you e.g. say you have "40 emergency kittens" on stock and a target of 40 - they only can be exported from your site. So you are able to see the different counts go up and down. Beneath this, GTFO! still also offers goods not on the board, so as I understand it, every vehicle will be offered fitting haul sizes - even a small waterplane that can only carry newspapers.
I Bought this stockboard and its NOT working. Also no Reply from the owners or creators of GTFO
Hello everyone,
The stock board is very neat. It looks very nice but the downside is that it is not working. So this is just for decorating. I have added stock like eggs or fruits but you are unable to load or unload it as it does not shows in the GTFO hud as cargo. In my opinion the idea is fantastic buts its totally not working as 90% of the cargo that is available in the stock board list is not available in the gtfo hud to load. So to me its useless. I tried to contact the gtfo staff / creator of course no response. Anyway, i would advice not to buy this until they have made it working. Have a fun day and happy GTFO-ing.
