[JRF] Starship - Aerie Class
One of the workhorse light frigates of the Federation. Able to be crewed safely by as few as 2 people, while having the potential to accomodate dozens or more, the ship features all the scientific equipment and facilities required for research and exploration missions, in addition to the amenities to do it in comfort. In addition, she had a modular underbelly, able to load 8 module inserts for a diverse range of expanded functionality, be that more berthing and crew facilities, or research labs, tactical systems or even industrial replicators. For these reasons, while some where outfitted with Starfleet Military grade phasers and torpedo systems, far more often these ships were commissioned for civillian use.

This Mod/Copy Full Build Aerie Class Starship comes fully functional out of the box, meshed and textured using advanced lighting model materials. For best experience, use high graphic settings! This build is powerd by the [S3] Package, It's features include but are not limited to:
-A vast database of over a hundred Star Trek and Roleplay themed navigation destinations.
-Unparalleled viewscreen and skybox effects, for various methods of flight, anomalies, nebula, debris clouds, asteroid fields, stars and more.
-Build wide persistent effects reacting to current drive and speed settings and status.
-Combat effects and a combat encounters system allowing for simulation of ship to ship combat.
-Damage simulation effects and overlays for light and heavy damage levels.
-RP style Comms simulation.
-Shipwide Power and computer functionality effects, controlled via a tree network of global to relay to node level signals.

-2 Miniature Models of the ship, one textured normally and the other textured as a gold model for decorative use.

Build footprint: 128m*38m*88m (without skybox) or 150m*150m*150m (with skybox, prim roots still fit in without skybox footprint)
The full build uses a base prim count of 3150 prims. However it is important to keep a buffer of 1000 free prims for dynamic rezzer rooms and various damage overlays / effects to rez with.

I have just taken a commission aboard U.S.S Raven a Aerie class ship.
I must say she is a well appointed ship with a great scope for versatility. She can be crewed with as little as 2 active officers she is more comfortable with a complement of 10 crew.
The vessel's multi-adaptive shielding stops all but the deepest targeted scans and she has quiet a few tricks up her sleeve with her defectors to keep enemies guessing your next move.
The Aerie class is not without teeth and can handle her own in a fire fight and more than enough force fields around the ship should she be boarded.
Coming with all the science rooms she is quiet adept for a exploration class vessel.
On a recent mission to Boradis III we were able to use her 8 module bays situated on deck 4 in her belly. The U.S.S Raven was able to deploy 8 modules to the outpost there quickly and efficiently.
I'm enjoying this commission and wish any would be captains up for their own vessel assignment to look at the Aerie class from the Jupiter Research Foundation [JRF] group.
