I was under the impression when I purchase this set that the computers worked, like you could go online to google and youtube and such, obviously not. >:( For a pack of computers that is L$550, the LEAST you can assume is that these should work as realy computers. All they do is sit there and you put a texture on the screen and the screen is just that texture all the time unless u turn the computer off. I want an immediate refund, if I get my refund, I will remove this review and I will assume that the creator edits this listing afterwards to make it say that the computers ar enot functional >:( 1 star, computers don't work >:(
Very useful computer pack
After trying different sculpted computers in SL, this pack is relief. Most sculpted computers are either 'high' prim (too much for a small object IMO) or have bad textures.
This pack is super low prim (3 prims for a computer, screen and detailed keyboard) and looks good. There's a 90ties like computer included, a iMac looking one and a generic TFT screen + computer, so it should appeal to most people.
Pro's:
- Low prim
- Set your own screen (not limited to the choices of the creator)
- Different models, very versatile
- Textures aren't huge so they load fast
- Crazy detailed keyboard (each button individually modeled (still one prim though))
Cons:
- It's made in mesh, and not everybody has a mesh viewer yet. So: time to upgrade because you're missing out great stuff.
