Cirya is inspired by the classic schooners, which were highly desirable boats for many reasons, not the least of which is their good looks, and classic lines. Schooners are fast, by comparison to other sailbaots, point well, and have generally all-around good sailing characteristics, all of which you will find on Cirya. Cirya is powered by my own sailing engine, which, as many of you will know by now, is very lean (uses less than 350k script memory), yet full-featured, and results in a very smooth ride, with few crashes, easy sim crossings, and comparatively low-lag. Cirya is just over 40 feet long, not including the bowsprit, and comes with a full complement of sails. There are three choices of sail plans: club-footed jib, genoa, and spinnaker. Each sail plan has its own polar, helm "balance", and sails may be raised and lowered individually. Like most schooners, Cirya has a touch of weather helm. Cirya will perform well to windward with the club-footed jib, perform well on broad reaches, and downind runs with the genoa, and best on dead runs with the spinnaker. She weighs in at around 41 LI, is loaded with numerous boatly details, is constructed from high-quality, low-LI mesh, and will be easily customizable. Her top speed will be around 11 knots in ideal circumstances, but probably more like 10 knots in the most common circumstances. Skippers have a choice of two wind systems: wwc and bwind.
Thank you very much for your interest, and Fair Winds!

Great ship and SL sailing experience - Sound is annoying though
Great sailing boat, overall 5 stars, however I do wish it had the following:
**A way to turn off the creaking sound or reduce it at least. It's annoying when I'm relaxing on my pier. I understand a real boat dos this, but it's a short sound that loops over and over again and it's not random, it's 24/7 every 2 seconds.
**A HUD that controls some of the main commands.
It's my first Ktaba, probably won't be the last.
A very realistic sail
It is only because of my RL experience that I understand just how realistic this boat handles. It does take some getting used to. When other large SL boats turn in their own length, this one takes some time and also unlike most other SL boats won't stop it's turn easily. It is meant to represent a heavy boat and it does that well. Many sails to hoist and lower, just like what you might experience in such a boat in RL. I like it a lot, although often find myself in smaller boats. All my favs need to be realistic though. Good work, all in all.
