LOOKsee is a HUD program that works as many information and tracking tools in one. With it, you can do the following:
*Scan the sim you're in to produce a list of up to 16 avatars. Both full-sim and 96 meter scan modes.
*Scan 96 meters around you for objects, using Passive, Active, and Scripted filters to produce a list.
*Turn your HUD to Auto to use it like a radar and update automatically, or do scans manually.
*Perform manual searches for specific objects and avatars in both full-sim and 96 meter scan modes.
*Use the compact HUD's scrollable list to see avatar names and distances from you.
*Quickly find and track avatars and objects in the list with an integrated follow-cam that tracks the selected list item.
*Use the Info button to see detailed information about avatars and objects in the list.
*In addition to the information button, get visual help locating something with beacons that point to a listed item.
*Get one-time or updating read-outs of your camera's position and distance to you for rough distance measurements.
*Be aware of who's coming and who's going with in-range/out-of-range notifications with controllable chat and sound.
*Listen to scripts and people on channels -1020 through 1020(Omitting 0) with it's channel scanner mode.
*Specify an additional custom channel to snoop, which as above, also reports avatar/object names/text/channel/position/distance.
Whether you need a personal radar, a way to look up object and avatar details, find malicious devices, scan channels, or just spy, LOOKsee offers plenty of tools in a compact, easy-to-use space. All HUD communications to the owner use private methods.
Note: This device includes an automatic follow-camera, but does not and will not offer means to remotely monitor conversations(It can be used to find such devices though!)
Detailed instructions are included with the LOOKsee HUD including explicit descriptions of all of it's functions and commands.
NOTES:
Sim scans include every buildable portion of the sim from ground to 768 meters.
Sim scans are very complex and deal with a lot of unknowns, but behave reliably in LOOKsee, even in the case of failures. You will need object creation ability for the parcel on which you start a sim scan. Without it, the sim scan will always fail. When sim scans fail, in whole or in part, you will always receive a conclusion report of somekind within 25 seconds. Second Life sims have varying parcel permission sets and this can produce unpredictable results for LOOKsee's sim scan. If there are parcels which deny object entry, it is possible that this may impact some probes. You will be notified if certain potions of the sim were unscannable for this reason, though you will still receive a partial list from the scannable portions in your HUD list. If some probes are lost, you will be notified of the success rate of the sim scan as a percentage and will receive a partial list from the successful portions in your HUD list. If all probes were lost, or there were not object-rez permissions on the parcel you started the scan, the scan will send a failure notice and the HUD list will not update. A sim scan will also fail if you change regions before a scan concludes or if sim performance is extremely poor. None of these results will damage your HUD or impact it's performance outside of not producing a list for the failed scan. All scans will complete in 5 to 25 seconds, and will only take 25 seconds if the sim scan failed.
All HUD functionality needs to have script ability. If you're on a parcel that has scripts disabled(Or sim-wide disabled), it will not function.
When entering a new region, the HUD may be slow to load, and it could take up to 2 minutes before the list display updates on your screen. This is usually directly related to simulator performance and it's level of business at the time you enter it. This is usually just a visual problem and does not affect the scan, however, it, and related problems can sometimes result in a failed sim scan.

Not worth the price
I really can't see that the price is worth this item unfortunately. There are many much more powerful HUDs and Viewers out there for a better price. just imho.
This is a ton of information and is really useful if you want to learn about what is going on around you. It is easy to operate since it has so many usefull tips in the instant message in response to the selections you make.
Outstanding product and very percise. 1000 Lin is a steal for what this product can do.
I was afraid I would not be able to use this because it looked too complicated for me. BUT it is so easy. Just really good instructions. The hud is so easy to use. I will use this all the time. Came back to add something I hadn't used- the CAM feature. LOL I love it. Being able to click on the persons name (On the hud) and have my camera go right to them, is great! I was a total clutz with my camera so this is perfect for camera retards. lol Great product.
