Mini Transat HUD - Wear It. Sit. Fly.
***************************************************
The Mini Transat 6.50 is Isard's foiling solo racer - a Mini-class prototype designed for the toughest single-handed ocean crossings. This HUD makes flying it as simple as wearing it. Auto Pilot is on the moment you sit, so one click raises the sails and you're underway. Cross 9 knots and the foils lift you clear of the water.

No setup
***************************************************
Most sailing HUDs need a companion script dropped into your boat. The Mini Transat HUD doesn't. The Mini Transat broadcasts its own telemetry through GLW, so the HUD just works the moment you wear it and sit. Wear, sit, sail.

Built for smooth, steady sailing
***************************************************
The Mini Transat ships with four built-in automatic systems: autotrim keeps your sheets right, autokeel swings the canting keel for counterbalance, autofoil drops the leeward foil and raises the windward one as you tack, and autosail switches the downwind sails. The HUD leans on the first three and handles the downwind sails itself - the boat's autosail reacts to every gust and tends to hunt, so the HUD switches it off for you and works from the steady wind angle you set instead. The result: smooth, predictable sail changes, and only the controls you actually need to reach for. Sail. Stop. Steer.

How it works
***************************************************
Traditional SL wind systems set the wind in world coordinates. The moment you turn, the wind shifts and the sails need re-trimming.
The Mini Transat HUD works the other way round. You set the wind angle relative to your bow - broad reach off the starboard quarter, say - and the HUD locks it there. Whatever direction you steer, the sails stay full. You go where you point.
***************************************************
Downwind sails, your way
***************************************************
Below the Main and Jib, the Mini Transat flies a Code 0 for closer angles or a Gennaker for deeper running. Tap the Code 0 or Gen button to fly the one you want - or switch on Auto Sails and let the HUD raise, switch, and strike the downwind sails for you as you move the wind arc through its zones. Hands-on or hands-off, your call.
***************************************************
Drag-along wind tuning
***************************************************
Touch the wind arc tab and slide along it - the wind direction tracks your cursor live, with 1° resolution. Same for the wind speed column: drag the tab up and down to step through speeds. Fine adjustments take seconds.
***************************************************
Top-down docking view
***************************************************
Tap the Track button for a clean bird's-eye view of your boat - line up perfectly with a pier or mooring instead of guessing from the chase camera. Tap again to return to your normal view.
***************************************************
One-tap camera reset
***************************************************
Sim crossing knocked your camera out? One tap of the Cam button restores the boat's dynamic camera. No fumbling, no chat commands.
***************************************************
Live telemetry
***************************************************
Hover text above the HUD reads out live boat data, updated once per second:
12.5 kt | HDG 045° | REL 120° | AP On
Speed, heading, relative wind angle, and autopilot state - pulled directly from the Mini Transat's own GLW broadcast.
***************************************************
Compatibility
***************************************************
Purpose-built for the Isard Mini Transat 6.50 sailboat. Reads telemetry from the GLW broadcast and sends commands on the boat's command channel.
