thank you for interest in our Observatory
The observatory is a typical building from the late 18th century. Our building was inspired by a World Heritage Observatory in Stockholm.
Built 1753 renovated, and rebuilt several times in the 19th century.
From 1756 through to modern times it has also been used as meteorological observation station and holds the world record for the longest unbroken meteorological records.
The central tower is a unique building and has many interesting technical details. Some of which we have reproduced in our model.
The research observatory was moved 1921 south of Stockholm and the Stockholm observatory building is now a museum.
Apart from am astronomical Observatory this would make for a very unique home, display or exhibition center, or gallery, and if placed on a hill makes and excellent observation platform.
The doors are scripted, as well as the 4 dome hatches. The lower part of the upper stairs to the balcony can pivot upward for make more floor space , simply click on it as you would a door.
*NOTE*
If you take your Observatory back into your inventory please ensure the sliding door at the top deck is closed or the script for this door will brake . ( Always best to keep an original copy anyway)
* No telescopes are not included.
