Imagine this:
You have to send an important message to creator about their products, but because they are so popular their IMs get capped. You could send a notecard but even those could get lost if IMs are capped. What do you do?
This online mailbox checks the online status of the recipient every few seconds and once they are online delivers the specified notecard message to them. It only delivers the message when the recipient is online!
Send notecard messages to creators, friends, anyone you want to contact without worrying the message won't be delivered.
Please Note:
* This is not a mailbox for you to receive messages from. This is a mailbox for you to send messages to other avatars.
* Only notecards can be sent. If you want to send other items drag them into the notecard along with a message and save.
* Only 1 notecard at a time will be sent. If you need to send multiple messages to the same avatar, rez another mailbox.
* This mailbox only delivers the notecard message, it does not detect if the recipient actually accepts the notecard. They could decline the delivery if they wish.
* This mailbox only sends notecards you created, one at a time to one avatar only. It should not be used as a mailing list for spam.
Instructions:
1. Touch the mailbox to open the menu and select "Add Key".
2. Type in the UUID of the avatar you would like to send a notecard to. You can find their UUID by opening their profile and copying the key under their name.
3. Create a new notecard, name it, write the message in it, save it and drag it into the contents of the mailbox.
4. The notecard will be delivered when the recipient comes online, you will be notified and the mail box will reset and be ready for re-use.
