Tropical Creations now brings you the most realistic Rideable Orca in SL! Fully configurable with it's extensive menu, this new animated adult free swim Rideable Orca can be ridden using 6 ride poses by one or two riders and does super realistic Orca tricks. If two are riding the Orca, poses can be chosen separately for each rider or coordinated in the Sync mode.

This Orca includes water splashes with synchronized sounds and seven random Orca calls that create endlessly varying real Orca sounds. Beautifully sculpted and textured, these 3D Orcas have animated moving tails and flippers that move with the different tricks and swims for amazing realism! You won't believe the attention to detail and realism that has been put into the creation of these settable male/female adult rideable Orcas.

The Orca will randomly swim around the rectangular area set for it, checking the boundaries, making various jumps, breaches, tail splashes and swimming underwater, complete with relevant splashes, water effects and sounds. They are so fascinating to watch! This Orca has been created to mimic RL Orcas in the wild with the tricks they do naturally. However, unlike RL it will stay mainly near the surface in SL so it can be seen and enjoyed.

The marking behind the dorsal fin is called a saddle patch. In RL, these are unique to each Orca, like a human finger print. It is impractical in SL to create unique skin markings for every Orca, however you have the option of choosing any of three different skins where the saddle patch varies from the skins menu.

Male Orcas have a big dorsal fin and females have smaller ones. You have the option to set the gender of the Orca to male or female. The gender and skin are set randomly when rezzed or reset and can easily be changed.

Setting up your new Orca is quick and easy for a basic setup, but includes many options to customize it to exactly the settings you want for your Orca. Just rez your Orca clear of obstructions, just above the water in your ocean or pool. If the Orca is placed into the Linden ocean, move it to the centre of the area where you want it to swim, touch for a menu of options and click on START to start it with the default settings. When first touched, it will automatically detect the Linden ocean level and set an area of 16m x 16m to swim within. If it's not in the linden ocean or you wish to set a different swim area, you can set a water level and a custom rectangular swim area from the Set Up menu. Perfect for either the Linden ocean or skybox pools or any non-Linden ocean setting.

A minimum area of 16m x 16m is required, with a recommended depth of 6m. This is the default area when you rez it, but you may increase this to suit your situation.

You can rename your Orca to any name you wish and optionally show its name in float text above the Orca from the Name menu. The default names are Samson for male Orcas and Delilah for females ones.

You can also set the Set the frequency of tricks or Orca calls from the Tricks or Sounds menu to adjust how often tricks or the Orca calls occur. These can be set to high, mid, low or off, Default is Mid for both.

We also include an "Orca Finder" prim to find your Orcas if you cannot see them. Wear or rez this prim and touch it to receive a SLurl for the location of your Orca if it is in a script enabled parcel.
