PA-18 Super Cub Amphiobian (Boxed) Versión 1.0

I'm so happy I found this plane! It is exactly what I was looking for! And, it flies great. Goes over region crossings with no problems. I've added a fuel system add on I found on mp and am currently planning my first intercontinental flight. Thanks!

I can't understand how anyone can criticize this plane. Both the amphibious and regular versions fly perfectly; they both perform exceptionally well. I own many planes, and this is one of my favorites. I thank the creator for their excellent work.

I bought this plane. I have the non-Amphibian which flies perfect. But this one is just failure after failure. It can't contact server and a lot of very complicated instructions on the screen how to solve the problems. NO WAY! When you buy a product it has to work!!! I fly heli and planes but this one is catastrophical! Don't buy! It will avoid a lot of frustration and irritation! For those who need a hud.. there is no hud. The plane doesn't fly up at all. I just threw away 1500L for this terrible product!

I love this plane. Living on an island, it's nice to have a small hopper I can take off from where I live and fly anywhere (provided it's possible on the map). Crossing many sims, landing, departing the plane, getting back in, and flying over many sims, I did not lose my plane once.

I have aircraft from nearly every builder in SL. Some are ridiculously easy to fly where boredom is more fun, and there a few I feel are nearly impossible due to their emphasis on physics that do not mix well with SL's current design. This Cub offers subtle realism that allows you to feel like you're flying an actual plane while also enjoying a smooth flight across the grid. In other words, you have to pay attention, but the learning curve is not such where most people will just leave this plane in their inventory and buy something else.

I typically prefer a hud when flying planes with more challenging physics, but this plane does not need one. The commands are simplified by only needing the letter to exact instead of having to type a novel or remember the proper order to use. Excess chat garbage is also reduced by having a few touch commands for the door and window.

The handling is that of a light aircraft with pontoons. You'll need an area to take off where the plane can gain speed and rise at a smooth angle because cranking back on the stick will force a stall. The splash effect is excellent, and you can just stop on a dime or put the plane in reverse like it's a Ford Fusion. You do have to calculate your altitude and speed for a proper water landing, which I appreciate. Also, the flaps create actual drag, which you do not always experience on other aircraft in SL. To sum up, you can't leap off the ground at 30% in 3 seconds, and you won't land like a butterfly on hot pavement.

All in all, you cannot beat this plane for the price. I appreciate the ability to mod and hope there will be a resize option in the future, but that's not a deal breaker at all.

Is this an attempt at 'realistic' flight? I actually flew a restored Piper PA-18S Super Cub with the Lycoming 150 hp engine. At a cruising speed of approx. 100 mph / 75%. we did NOT experience the sink rate that his SL model has. IMHO, this is a pretty crappy build that does not reflect the capabilities of the real banana. Recommend rebuilding with a more reliable standard Cubey script

This is one of the best planes in SL by far, especially if you're a mouse-looker and a fan of working, legible instrumentation, extremely short region-to-region transition times, no lag flight, then I'm not sure why you don't have this yet, or why I did not before now.

The model and texturing is amazing, the sounds are very pleasing to the ear, it has a fantastic wake, and it's very cheap. There's a reason you see these all over SL, it's a good plane.
