RPCS System Scripts V1.2

RPCS stands for ROLE PLAY CLUE SYSTEM. It is a single script and notecard which you can place in any object you have modify rights to. It allows you to put information in the notecard which can be used to give more information about the object when clicked on.

This is an example of how the notecard is set up:

Examine=Examine Text Goes Here
Use Tricorder=Tricorder Reading Text Goes Here

In this setup... the person who clicks on the object will get a menu with 2 buttons. "Examine" and "Use Tricorder". If examine is clicked, they will see "Examine Text Goes Here" in IM just to them. If Use Tricorder is clicked, they will see nothing, unless they are wearing an RPCS Enabled Tricorder... which would then send them the text for that line... which in this case would read "Tricorder Reading Text Goes Here"

Try the included Sample Clue.

You can add as many button labels as you want. Examine, Taste, Smell, Lick, Etc. These buttons can be used by anyone. But ONLY a button named "Use Tricorder" will allow the object to be scanned by an RPCS Tricorder... and this button will only work for someone with such a tricorder equipped.

To set up a RCPS Clue... drop in the ExamineRPCScript and the Messages Notecard into the object to be scanned and examined. Then edit the notecard as you wish.

You may use either the RPCS Tricorder, or drop the RPCS Tricorder Plug-In Script into ANY tricorder you currently own to make it RPCS Enabled. (Note that a tricorder using the Plug in script will work all the time when attached. So if it uses a draw holster system, it will work even when holstered. The RPCS Tricorder, Version 2.3 and higher, only works when drawn.)

The RPCS Tricorder is not included in this set... but the plug in script to make your existing tricorder RPCS Enabled is.
