RSS Le Mystique Notes:
I'm taking a chance by slightly changing the name of this variant of the Mystique ... hopefully it won't confuse too many people. Heh. The Le Mystique has the exact same performance as the original Mystique. The only script changes were to add features such additional sounds ... sailing variables were not changed.

The major change is the cannon layout. The Le Mystique was built alongside the Mystique but with a different cannon layout. At the time of the Mystique's release, the 242 (2 bow, 4 sides, 2 stern) version was too different, i.e a polacre class with stern cannons, to get much support for release.

Now, nearly two years later and prodded by multiple requests for a stern cannon ship by Captains, Red Sails Shipyard is happy to present the 242 variant of the Mystique.

The original 1750 Requin was built and launched as a lateen rigged three masted ship, aka a "cebek". Yet later in the ship's life, the Requin was converted to the square and lateen sail rigged hybrid, aka a "polacre". Sharp-eyed Captains will recognize the shared heritage between the RSS Requin and RSS Mystique, especially in the hull lines and shape. Even so, the two different rigs set each ship apart visually as each of its own. Beware though of the nearly identical rigging and hulls of the two Mystique variants else a Captain may be surprised by cannonballs shot from unexpected places (like the stern!).

RSS Le Mystique Features

- Ultra low physics cost mesh construction
- Low script count (5 ship/1 sails/1 HUD) helps ease transitions from one region to another
- Single cannon script independent of cannon prims to prevent range manipulation
- Tamper resistant collision prim hit area (if modified, scripts reset collision prim attributes or prevents ship from sailing)
- Only 59 total land impact when sailing, Attachable sails are 109 land impact until attached to the avatar
- Cannonball sounds and splashes unique to RSS ships
- Randomized secured communication channels for increased ship security
- Updated All-In-One HUD configures itself to most RSS ships
- Ship rezzable repair depot that will automatically self delete after ship is fully repaired (no more abandoned depots!)

Great all-round ship

I nearly own every ship made by RSS , I just keep coming back as these vessels are reliable and fine quality . The 2 stern , 8 broadside and 2 bow chasers combined with squares for extra speed and reversal make for efficient sailing , I highly recommend Le Mystique for battle .
