This is a quality of life item that is made to automatically remind you to take a break every once in a while. We sometimes spend too much time on the computer and forget about other things. This is aimed to try to help a bit on that side, or to just motivate for a healthier life in general by encouraging to move around once in a while, or to have some important hydration or food once in a while. Having the ability to check how long you have been online helps be aware of the time being spent online, which could positively impact your way of using the computer.
This product gives you the choice to use it as HUD or to rez it inwolrd and put it on a desk or shelf. It keeps track of the time you have been online, and will send an automatic message once in a while to suggest you to take a break. You can always touch it to get your current online time, so you will always be aware of how much time you have spent logged in.
The intervals for the automatic reminders are adjustable, they are given every hour as default. The message appears on your local chat. If the device is worn as a HUD, it will also play a notification sound so you can't miss the reminder. The rezzed version does not plays a sound as to not disturb other people, or so it's not used by others to know your online status. This device is only for yourself.
If rezzed inworld, it has the benefit of giving you a chance to re-log / restart your browser without restarting the online time (as long as you log back in within 5 minutes). Unlike as HUD, that it restarts from 0 every time you log in, regardless on how fast you returned. This is a second life limitation, unfortunately.
It is very simple to use and very minimalistic.
The product is 100% mesh, both PBR and legacy materials. 1 land impact when rezzed, and it can be linked to other things if needed. Comes in gray color, but it can be tinted if you wish to mod it.
