Usage:
Terrain in SL is edited by 2x2, 4x4 and 8x8 meters. Your "land buddy" will change it's size when you select the desired brush from the menu. You can even let your friends use it by adding them to the ~Users notecard.

To get started:
* Simply rez the land buddy from your inventory.
* Right-click the land buddy and select "open".
* Add your name and any users to the ~Users notecard.
* Save the card and the land buddy is ready to use.
* You will see the buddy options above the prim including sim-grid location, brush size, speed etc.

IMPORTANT!
I've received messages from customers stating that this tool doesn't work. I've tested it again today and it works as fine. However, make sure to put your avatar name correctly into the ~Users notecard. One name per line and your original user name. In my case I would put "slci Planer" without the "".

To use it:
* Raise or lower it to your desired height and touch it.
* From the menu select the desired brush size you like to work with.
* Click "Start" from the menu and move the land buddy around.
* Or, select "auto on" and the buddy will move on his own.
* You can always stop him, change brush size or raise and lower your buddy.
* You can also select on "clockwise" or anti-clock" from the menu, and the buddy will rotate by 90 degrees and move on.

Advanced usage:
With your land buddy you can create hills, slopes and raised terrain in minutes, even "land based steps".

Making slopes etc:
* Simply rez multiple buddies next to each other.
* Set them to different height levels like 21,22,24,26 meter.
* Enable all buddies, highlight them all and move them around at once.

You will see that now you're creating exact raised steps or slopes. Once you got the terrain shape you like, stop your buddies and use the "smooth brush" from the terrain editing menu to make it all look nice. Work you used to do in hours, you can now do in minutes.

Flatten, Raise or Lower a full sim:
* Rez 1 land buddy and select the large brush size.
* Set it to your desired height.
* Open the edit menu and from the top select the "create" magic pen.
* Select "copy selection" and "keep tool selected" from the create menu.
* Now click on 1 side of your land buddy, you see a copy is "snapped" onto it.
* Make as many copies as you like, creating a large "mat.
* Enable ALL buddies, now select them all and move them over the sim.

You will see that you can raise, flatten or lower a whole sim in less than 5 minutes with this. There is many more ways you can use this tool, play with it, try different heights, snapped and gapped land-buddies and watch the results.

Editing terrain has never been this easy.
