True skydiving is much more than just falling through the air...
The Skydiver's HUD allows SL skydivers to fly in much more dynamic and realistic ways. It includes 5 different positions plus 2 extra headdown moves. Additionally, it allows you to slightly change your fallrate as you fall through the air.
When you first wear the Skydiver's HUD, it will appear as a small box in the upper left corner of your screen. When you jump (you must wear either a Moab BASE rig or Banzai skydiving rig), the Skydiver's HUD will transform into a series of buttons below a display of your Av's speed & fallrate.
The buttons below the display are for your different positions: Belly, Backfly, Stand, Sitfly, & Headdown. The buttons to the right of the display are for changing your fallrate.
After landing, the Skydiver's HUD will automatically minimize to stay out of the way.

- SOAR Audible Altimeter : This smart altimeter alerts you with two different warning tones as you freefall. You set the altitudes for the warning and alarm tone. Also visually shows your altitude while in freefall.

This is so much fun to use while in free fall....I can't believe how many jumps I made today playing with this....if only I can make that many in RL.
excellent hud for skydiving
took me a minute to figure out that you only see all the available buttons when in freefall - while standing on the ground, it's minimized (my fault for not reading the instructions). it works great and is a lot of fun - definitely adds to the whole skydiving experience.
