SSS Goelette (pirate battle ship) Version 2.0
The Goelette (or Goleta) was developed and optimized for a maximum speed while remaining manageable by a small crew, so was popular in activities that required speed and windward ability, such as slaving, privateering, and blockade running. This name did not appear until 1750 in France, in the form of "go(u)elette" (its assumed that this term comes from "goéland", french for "gull"). The rig is originally from Holland, XVII century.
- The SSS Goelette is specifically designed for Pirate and Naval War games, so it's SPD compatible.
- Copiable and physically modifiable.
- Its optimized for Mouselook, but it can operate on Normal View.
- Sails set is automatically worn when boarding the ship (just one set is used for both static and active modes).
- It is driven by the wind (it is based on the Flying Tako scripts by Kanker Greeacre).
- Turn speed depends on the ship speed, so kedge anchors were included.
- 25 hitpoints of structure strength.
- 2 camera settings for the captain.
- 2 camera settings for the gunners.
- Iron angle is 38 degrees.
- Multiple effects includes sounds, smoke, animated parts and explosion.
