I made this for a friend. It's a simple snowball thrower with animations for holding, aiming, throwing and making a new snowball. Sound effects too.
The ball is mesh and it's all made by me :)
Note that you must be on land where you can rez things to use this - the snowball thrower rezzes a physical snowball.
Two versions are included: one that chats privately to both avatars when hit, and one that shouts about the hit to everyone in shouting range.
To use, attach the snowball thrower, go into mouselook to aim, and left-click to throw. If you hit someone, they are pushed slightly.
The snowballs do not do Linden damage (to limit griefing really) but are compatible with the SPD-J free health meter (at least version 1.61 I tested it with). They hit as a pistol ball if using that. Note that you *do not* need the SPD-J meter to use the snowballs, it's just an option if you want to have a real battle and kill each other with snowballs. I've included a copy of the (freely available) SPD-J combat kit... it needs unpacking and attaching. Please read its instructions, I have nothing to do with the kit other than giving you a copy for your convenience :)
As a freebie, it might have some shortcomings (like the animations are not Bento) but I think it's good enough :)
