This is a detailed mesh Strawberry plant, designed to be six different plants in one, as far as berry growth is concerned. It basically means, that instead of making six different plants to show berry growth, I've merged them into the same plant, and the berry growth is controlled by turning some textures invisible in each stage.
The berry growth starts with flowers, then it goes through four growing berry stages and ends up with the berries having been picked.
If you're script savvy, you can use a script to imitate berry growth by toggling texture face visibility on/off in a sequence. I've included a notecard that shows the numbers of the texture faces that must be invisible in each stage, to help you. Unfortunately, I can't give you any other script advice, as I'm a hardcore mesh- and texture creator, and not a scriptor.
The plants can also just be used without scripting - I've included an example of each stage of the plant in two versions, where one has more berries than the other.

LAND IMPACT (prim count):
The pack includes two strawberry plants where one has more berries than the other. The mesh model with fewer berries has a land impact (LI) of 1.5, which results in a prim count of 1, when rezzed alone. The plants with more berries has a LI of 1.7, that makes it go up to 2 prims, when rezzed alone. Stretching the plants will increase the LI.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a plant which I can use a script to simulate growth! Not only are there 5 stages, there are also 2 versions depending on whether you want more or less fruits.
Only thing that could make this even more perfect would be if there was a stage before Stage 1 when the plant is in sapling stage.

After wasting money on a bunch of different strawberry plants I finally broke down and bought these. It was a great decision. The plants are very lifelike and beautiful. I especially like all the different growing stages. A perfect fit for my garden.
