Our landlord (at the time of our introducing this dance machine) asked us to come up with a dance ball for his line-dance stage. Something that would be easy to use and have dances appropriate for a stage.
This dance machine is our solution. We culled through a zillion dances--none rare to SL--and picked ones that were nice and suitable for stage dancing. We tossed out a ton of jerky, strange dances, keeping those that were pleasing to watch, especially in sync!
You don't have to have a stage for this to be a great addition to your club, home, or venue--great for your beach, too! Anywhere you want to have great female dancing!
We put the dancers and the server into a pink ball with a lined texture--what many people expect for a dance machine for girls. The final product is very nice, and we know you will enjoy it.

===== MODIFICATIONS and SETUP =====
You can add your own animations to this system. Completely teaching the editing system of SL is beyond the scope of this notecard, but here is the basic process, and what you need to do to add animations:
1. Rez the Dance Machine on the Ground. Locate the original, which is STILL in your inventory. Select the "Rename" option, and add "ORG" to the original. The one on the ground still has the old name.
2. Select the Dance Machine which is now on the ground and pick "Edit."
3. Go to the CONTENTS tab.
4. Drag your animations to the CONTENTS tab. Repeat dragging until all the animations are moved/copied to the CONTENTS tab.
5 If you want to rename the loaded Dance Machine, you can go to the GENERAL tab of the Edit interface and do so. You will not be able to edit the name once you take it back to inventory if you add any (No Mod) animations.
6. Click the machine to begin dancing!

Exactly What I Needed
Dancers at my venue were having trouble with the system requiring them to use "Mode/Stop" and picking "Sync" to line dance. This ball has a ton of stage and floor dances, and it is click to start, click to stop. There are so many dances, it takes about 45 minutes before the dancers repeat a dance.
