<TA>iPad Check-in Kiosk
We built this as a feature in our role-play clinic at The Redux (2023). It is a nice iPad on a pole.
The idea is that, after some sort of service the role-play calls for checking out (e.g. leaving the doctor's office). This kiosk is for that.
When a payment (donation of any amount) is made:
• a designated avatar gets the money (just like every other donation thing)
• the kiosk gives the donor a notecard. (ours is like a medical receipt with after-care instructions).
• the kiosk IMs the donor with a thank you message
Overall, we think this is a fun little, good-looking prop that actually does something a little bit useful!
You Get:

• The item is set to give off a little "screen glow" local light. You'll have to "Edit linked" and find the component set to give off light if you want to change this.
Buy this item if you can…
Do trivial edits to a script--change values inside quotation marks.
Instructions:
1 Rez item in world.
2. Edit the item and go to contents.wd
3. Open the script
• set the payWho key to the person getting the money.
• set the name of the item that is to be given. Put that item in the kiosk.
• • you can just edit and rename the notecard already in it.
• enter your thank you message
• Set the floating text string OR keep "NOT USED" for no floating text.
