This aircraft and its accessories have been fully constructed by the author of this note. No copying or piracy of 3D object is used in their manufacture. They were made from drawings , photos , videos and other documents for bringing more realism possible , within the constraints of their use in SL .
Percival Gull Vega is an Australian aircraft which was built between 1935 and 1939, motorized by the Gipsy Six engine from De Havilland. This model has been replicated in SL at the request of a TBM client.
The display of Percival on the screen has been optimized for a level of detail (LOD) "2", so it is perfectly visible from afar with a computer set low graphics performance. The shapes do not "break" significantly at close range.
It does not takeoff on few meters only, it require power and distance.
It can fall out of fuel (switchable function) and the tank can be filled with the fuel pump provided or with any other compatible TBM pumps.
It is scripted so as to make it less dependent on the basic behavior of the "engine" that is usually found in vehicular scripts.
- The engine can be accelerated during taxiing, even at full throttle. The Percival do not takeoff when the minimum takeoff speed is not reached.
- It stall in flight and falls if the speed is too low (switchable function)
- It flies like a glider when motor to 0% or cut due to run out of fuel, with loss of altitude of course.
Four seats for 1 pilot and 3 passengers. The input and output of the pilot is animated.
The doors can be open and closed, like the hatches of the engine cover.
Crash effect (noise, smoke, engine cut, bent propeller) in case of impact on the nose, with "reset" command for repair it.
Automatic update system triggered when it rez on the Ground.
Doppler sound effects improved by script.
The engine bench work. It is usable by all residents.
The plane is "modif" (except scripts), in particular the textures whose templates are provided in 2048x2048 PSD format.

A full or partial use of their components for integration into personal achievements is prohibited unless with our approval. A disassembly of parts for use in decoration is authorized within the limits of the previous prescription. For example, the motor can be detached and presented on a table or mounted on a test bench in a mechanical workshop but will in any case never to fit another vehicle. this plane is my number 1 fav to fly with took me only 3 min to learn all of it smile

Not a learner plane but awesome!
Great flying plane! I crashed many times (demoing it and after buying it) before I got the hang of taking off properly. If you are taking off at 100% (like the notecard tells you to do) just tap the down key once (don't hold it down) after you're down the runway a good distance. After that and catching some good altitude the plane gains stability and control to somewhat cruise along. Most planes are the landing is the tough thing to do, but on this one, the take off is the hardest, but once you get the hang off it and the feel of it, it's so MUCH fun.
Very disappointed
I hate writing reviews like this, but creator gives me no choice. I had several problems that I am sure could have been resolved but there is not even a hint of technical support on this plane. I tried Tania and bunny, twice each, and neither of them would even answer. So bottom line is: No support from creator, and a plane that I cannot fly.
This aircraft I've wanted as Rhona/Serena is told to buy an Fine Plane.
The Percival Vega Gull are powered by Inline 6 Engine. inside the BMW/Jaguar Cars. on the Aircraft. and I've tested this Aircraft at the =TBM= Mainstore couples of times.

Fine little plane!
I bought this because I was sure that some of the reviews of it here do it a great injustice. And they do, this is a fine airplane, and a beauty at that. I took it out first time, flew it from Tsurington to Second Norway, and I had *no* problems. No dropping, nothing, not even at lower throttle. Took off like it should, landed like it should, and inbetween you can easily do a loop. It's not the very best plane I've ever flown in SL but it's good, no doubt about it, and I fly *a lot* of planes. And it's cheap at L$1150. Like the looks? Don't hesitate and grab it.
