Back to life in this world, I am once again amazed that people can love the paintings on my boats. Indeed, a friend calls me to tell me: ho ! I am disappointed not to see a pirate among the B503.
And here is Salomee taking out the brushes and revisiting the history of the pirates of Reunion Island
The buzzard and its boat renamed "Le Victorieux" which scoured the seas not so long ago.

"My treasures to whom will know how to understand!" Olivier Levasseur called La Buse, before being hanged on July 7, 1730.

Treasure, lot of pearls, diamonds, gold and silver vessels, coded messages, caves and mysterious island, plans where hiding places abound, Pirates and Privateers have spoken to my Creole heart in a mysterious language.
So, I wanted to share with you my emotion and the adventures that I feel thrilling on the land of my ancestors.

This boat hull is my tribute to LA BUSE, the character who haunted and still haunts my island: Reunion Island.

If you like Le Victorieux, sail with her on the seas of SL, rocked by the storms rising in the skull of Salomée, much worse than those born in the Indian Ocean, which bathes the coasts of Africa and Madagascar, as the pirate rum bathes my throat.

Salomee who loves you too much, especially if you have love in your veins.

Biography
Olivier Levasseur, known as La Buse, is an authentic pirate. After capturing the Portuguese 72-gun ship "The Virgin of the Cape", he renamed it "The Vectorious".

Nicknamed THE BUSE because of its speed at melting on its prey, this pirate famous scoured the Indian Ocean at the beginning of the 18th century.

Born 328 years ago, he threw the plan of his treasure to the crowd before dying hanging high and short in Saint Paul, Reunion Island, on the evening of July 7, 1730, at the age of 40.

On the map is noted this enigma:

"Take a pair of pijons, fire

"My treasures to whom will know how to understand!"

In 1721, La Buse was associated with the English pirate Taylor. They seized the rich Portuguese 72-gun ship, The Virgin of the Cape, which had sought refuge from storms in the port of Saint-Denis (Bourbon Island, now Reunion Island).
On board the ship were Count Ericeira, Viceroy of India and the Archbishop of Goa. The Buzzard did not demand a ransom from the viceroy, but took possession of objects of inestimable value: rivers of diamonds, jewellery, pearls, gold and silver bars, furniture, fabrics, sacred vases and precious stone cassettes, and GOA's golden stick with rubies weighing about a hundred kilos, all valued at 4.5 billion euros.

He is said to have hidden this treasure somewhere in Reunion Island. Even today, researchers and scientists are still searching for this treasure that has been lost for 288 years.
