The tracker is for monitoring whether an avatar is online or not. Useful for tracking down an elusive merchant for an undelivered item or monitoring when a romantic interest comes online. If there is a change in the online status, the tracker sends you an IM.
May be used to track ten avatars or more. Just enter the names of the avatars that you wish to track on a notecard and leave the device rezzed in world somewhere. It monitors online status even when you are offline. There is no specific limit for the number of avatars tracked and depends only on memory limits
If a tracked avatar is online, the device turns green and displays the name of each avatar above the device. If no tracked avatars are online, it turns red. For privacy, the device may be set so that avatar names are not displayed.
It includes a HUD scripted to work in no-script areas. The HUD however must be first worn in a script-enabled area before entering the no-script area.
The tracker and HUD are each one prim and may be modified and copy. The scripts inside however are copy only and may not be modified.
- Tracks avatar online status
- Sends on IM when there is a status change
- May track multiple avatars at the same time.
- Includes HUD scripted to work in no script areas.
Not functional
It seems this is no longer functional. It showed one person online who was offline. Plus failed to show three people as being online.
Most accurate and reliable tracker I've found. Been using it since 2011.

Great product!
This is worth the Linden. It works great! I have had this for months. Also, the creator has been very helpful when needed and it is appreciated that he was quick to respond! Thanks Randall!
Fantastic :)
Easy to configure and works great.
Still works in 2018.
Thank you Randall <3
Amazing gadget
I have had this item for more than 3 years and it has always worked well, sending me an email when my partner logs in. As there is an 8 hour time difference between us we used to do an awful lot of "hanging around" waiting for each other.
I recently bought a new ipad and couldn't understand why I was no longer getting the email and the accompanying sound. After much fiddling around it turned out that gmail had decided the message was junk and placed it in that folder, so no sound was sent to alert me. It is important that the message is not sent to junk. It now works fine again.
Okay .... Up to a point
I tried it with 46 AVs and I got errors:
