A thief can steal things from inside other VGS furnishings, but the burlap sacks are different. Thieves might actually take the sacks themselves.

They will then have to walk through the city carrying the sacks so you have a chance to chase them down or at least find witnessess - with a little luck.

:::::Operation:::::

*Important*
When you rez your Burlap Sacks, right click on each, select edit and click on 'More' to make the contents tab appear. You will see an object titled "Stolen Sack" there. Right click on it and select properties, then uncheck the copy check box. Do this for each of your sacks, so that thieves will get only one sack per theft. Do not skip this step.

Once your Burlap Sacks are in place, and you have completed the step above, you are done until a thief comes along.

The thief will be presented with a dialog menu asking if they actually intend to steal the supplies. If they respond yes, they will be given a Stolen Sack. They they will need to attach it. When they attach it (it is scripted so they will carry it) your sack will disappear.

When you want to reset it, simply find the now invisible sack (hold down control+alt+t to see transparent items) and click it. It will then become visible and stealable again.
