I spend a lot of time out walking about in the night. I always have. Sometimes I like to be alone. Sometimes I like a companion.
Sometimes my companion is a ghost named Emerson.
FEATURES
1 - Touch his face to toggle these and other sounds (total of 20!) played randomly every 3 to 4 minutes. This REALLY gives an eerie (if not funny) ambience to the moment.
2 - His shrouds are flexi and carefully designed to give your ghost a natural bit of random animation.
3 - The Wingsong Ghost V3 is also a portable storm maker. Touch the large almost invisible ball on his shoulder to turn the rain drops and looped sound on and off. He also plays an intermittent distant thunder.
4 - Your ghost has a voice. And he uses it! He has twelve strips of linen on his shroud, and each one is embedded with a terrorizing (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) sound that plays when you touch it. A classic “BOOOO!” Some wailing and moaning, growling and howling. Two guy screams and two gal screams. Some perfunctory chain rattling. A couple of maniacal laughters.
Your ghost knows how to throw his voice as well. Of course, you gotta help him out. Touch your ghost's hood and a text box appears allowing you to literally put words in his mouth (though I must tell you, this ghost has a way of exerting his own thoughts!). Click SUBMIT and his words go under his own name into the chat box. Kind of like a ventriloquist, if you want to know the truth.
For a more realistic experience rename your ghost with a colon at the end. To change his name go into your EDIT tool and change his name in the GENERAL tab. For example:
Emerson:
Then when he "speaks" it'll look almost authentic in the local chat window, like this:
[04:27] Emerson: PLEASE take me home with you! Kit is driving my NUTS!
He's teasing, of course. Emerson is perfectly content living here at the Wingsong Dojo.
[04:28] Emerson: CONTENT!?! Are you crazy? You make me sleep with the donkeys and mules!
HAHAHA. He's lying, of course. He has his own bed.
[04:30] Emerson: My own bed. Right. You mean the one that the flying pig keeps sneaking into with me at night? THAT bed? I mean, seriously, Kit. Have you ever SLEPT with a pig?
See what I mean? And without a doubt, your ghost will probably take on its own persona as well. Although most of the Wingsong Ghosts V3 that we've distributed up to now have not been so - persnickety.
[04:31] Emerson: I am NOT persnickety!
You are, too, Emerson.
[04:32] Emerson: AM NOT!
Are, TOO!
<Brief cold silence ensues...>
[04:34] Emerson: Hmmmph!
BONUS
Emerson has been after me for months to make him a headstone. Says it ain’t natural for a ghost to be without a headstone, and he’s gotten tired of having to borrow others. So I made him a headstone. It’s taken months to engrave it. Solid granite, with a gorgeous smooth front piece, pretty roses (He tells me ghosts love roses – who knew?).
The headstone is also a sound machine; click on his headstone for your menu choices (same 12 sounds as Emerson’s shrouds). There is also an eerie fog emitting up from the headstone, which you can toggle on/off by typing /16 on and /16 mistoff in the local chat window.
