A few weeks ago we bought a new sectional couch for our real life living room. My avatar got insanely jealous. No, I mean SERIOUSLY jealous. Pestered me to no end. Whiney, whiney, whiney. Finally, I caved and made her a virtual sectional couch to go in her virtual beach house on her virtual land. She has been SO happy with her virtual self ever since.
Anyway, I admit I got a little carried away on this project. I wanted it to be full featured, versatile, comfortable, and aesthetically attractive. In short, I wanted to make a couch that would shut my avatar up.
My efforts seem to have paid off because she just smiles and smiles all the time.
Combining state of the art proprietary scripting with our high quality original Wingsong animations and tossing in three great FREEBIE props, this couch stands head to head with most couches on the grid, and at a fraction of the cost.
HOW TO USE and FEATURES
1 - REZ out each of the three sections and position. Many so called sectionals on the grid are really only single prims. We felt this violated the very nature of a sectional couch, so we did ours in real sections. But we did so with prim conservation in mind as well; each sectional is only 2 prims, for a total of 6.
2 - Because of the proprietary scripting, the couch is no mod. However, we installed onboard color engines. Click on the back or base of each section for an onboard menu of 88 colors.
3 - Click on the cushions for ANIMATIONS menus; all three sections feature the same 15 animations: 8 SIT, 2 RELAX, 2 READ BOOK, 2 PLAY GUITAR, 1 HOLD PET, plus three animations that have you and your guests catching the FREE Wingsong Book, Guitar, and Teddy Bear.
Animations will intuitively fit most humanoid adult avatars. In the event you want to make adjustments there is an easy to use onboard Adjustment Menu.
4 - The book is our FREE NonAnimated version of our very popular book that we include in several reading items. It includes 22 covers for a wide variety of titles (comic books, classics, reference books - very fun. You can also use this book with other reading furniture by other vendors. It's one of the most versatile books around.
5 - The guitar is an original Wingsong NonAnimated version of our popular series of animated guitars. It works great with the two guitar animations in this couch and can also be used in any number of guitar playing furniture by other vendors or as a great prop (6 prims). It does not play music.
6 - I hold alot of pets in all my worlds. I wanted to be able to hold and pet some of them while sitting on this couch. The couch has been specifically tested with a bunch of my Wingsong shoulder buddies and REZ pets (I attach them to my right hand when holding them on this couch). I've also tested this with a couple of my Fennux and my KittyCat Cloe, and they work great.
NOTE: To cuddle with your Fennux (sizes 1 to 9) on this couch, attach it from your inventory to your right hand. To cuddle with your KittyCat, REZ your cat, click on it, select Interact, then one of the interactions (I usually use "cuddle" or "hold" but experiment and see what you like best. She will jump into your arms. Use your arrow keys to adjust her as you like.
As you can see from the pictures, your pets fit easily in many of the animations included in this sectional couch!
Not everyone has a pet, and some of your guests might not have their favorite pet handy when they visit you. So we made a special FREE Wingsong Teddy Bear that easily substitutes for a live animal. And who's to say he's not alive anyway? I mean, his eyes blink/wink - so that's SOME evidence of life, right?
I'm sure you have other pets or stuffed toys in your inventory that you can use for the HOLD PET or other animations as well.
7 - The sculpties used in this couch are genuine Wingsong sculpties.
8 - Your Wingsong Sectional Couch MultiSit is COPY/MOD, so set out all you want. Your FREEBIE book, guitar, and teddy bear are all COPY/TRANS.
