pa-18 super cub crop sprayer (boxed)

You must own the Super Cub in order to be able to use this.

What is it?

It's a few mesh objects to add to your cub, plus a little bit of scripting to spin the impeller and produce ribbon particle effects. All meant to let you go crop spraying/dusting with your cub.

But you're not limited to spraying crops!

Need to knock out the staff guarding Fort Knox? You can be spraying anaesthetic!

Need to paint all your invisible unicorns pink? Break out the bulk paint spraying/dying equipment!

Conspiracy theorist living in the parcel next door? Spray chemtrails over his house!

(Yeah, I may be labouring the point here, it's a spinning object, some static objects plus some particle emitters).

These are hand crafted (well, made by paw actually) with high, medium, low, lowest and physics models all painstakingly created by me. The mesh uploader has generated none of this so you get nothing but nicely made mesh that shouldn't interfere with the normal operation of your cub.

Objects are copy/mod, script is copy only.

Installation is nice and simple!

I recommend that you mod a previously unmodded cub, nice and fresh is best. It does seem possible to upset the cub's flight by incrementally modding (though I've only managed to do it once), so if you find that the cub gets in to a repeating climb/stall behaviour you'll need to rez a fresh cub and apply all your mods again.

For those experienced in modding/editing, I'm sure you already know what to do. Rez the cub, rez the crop spraying stuff, make the position/rotation of the stuff match that of the plane, link the stuff to plane (but not the box that carries the stuff), then pick up your plane.

For those less experienced, there are more detailed instructions in the manual.

Using your spraying equipment is simple, a handful of chat commands control it.

sp - this toggles the crop spraying equipment on and off. When active, you'll see the impeller spin up at about 27 indicated speed, and the spray start/stop above/below 83ish. With flaps on and 45% power you'll be doing about 80, so the spray stops while on flaps and on a glide slope.

red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow, orange, pink, black and white - colours the spray effects appropriately

rgb - lets you set a custom colour, must have 3 numbers following it, which must have spaces between them and be between 0 and 255, for example rgb 255 128 192 gets you the standard pink colour.

Full perm textures are provided in the box. Feel free to export them and paint them as you please.

Nothing much else to add here, hopefully you'll enjoy spraying your virtual crops! Or painting the world pink, deploying that nerve gas or leaving chemtrails for people to panic about :)
