All other previous comments are true about the lack options and missing 90 degree piece etc.... I also would have liked to have seen a railing option if needed. So not exactly modular, but if you want exactly what is in the picture then its for you.

But still....

I have to agree with the reviewers that note that the dock is what it is -- a reverse "L" shape. It can be changed, but it is a lot of work to do so, totally defeating the modular idea. And the "missing" 90 degree corner is a bit of a PITA.

BUT STILL -- it looks absolutely great, and is really the best small dock on SL. The beach huts of course look great with it.

Be sure to look at this in-world before buying!

I've always loved What Next, and this set is no exception. But the project I got this set for is adaptable...unlike these dock and pier pieces. They are well-made, look great, and are low LI. But as other reviewers have said, they are designed to go together one way, and trying to put them together any other way leaves the finished pier looking odd.

The dock end is the most inflexible part. It has posts in the middle of every edge, and there's a "lip," an extra board that goes halfway across, on one side and not on the other. All of the pieces can be resized and retextured. But that extra board cannot be removed.

I've made this work for what I needed, and I'm very happy with the result. I would strongly suggest to anybody considering getting this set, look at it in-world first before you decide.

Nice but incomplete

I'm very happy with my purchase and the docks look great. I gave this 3 stars as I would have hoped to see a piece that fit at a corner allowing a 90 degree placement. I've fanagled the dock end to be "good enough" by stretching just a bit, however, a piece meant for this purpose would have been much nicer.

Not nearly as modular as it says

I have to echo what another review said. The quality is great. Nice textures, nice mesh, low land impact.

But despite all that, it's useless to me.

Although it is described as modular, it was built to be connected only in ONE specific way, in a reverse L shape. If you want any other design or shape besides that skinny L shape, then this pack will not work.

In my case, it's money completely wasted.
