Holo-Deck Scenes 16 - Private Cinema Version 1

This is an Exosphere Holo-Deck Scene and requires you to already own the Exosphere Holo-Deck to install it in.

Private Cinema - an Exosphere Holo-Deck Scene

Pick up your cola and popcorn, and settle into the best seats of the house along with your friends as the special feature starts to play on the screen of your own private cinema.

It's YOUR cinema, so it's only fair that YOU should get to decide what to show. Your cinema can play any video as long as you have a web link for it. You can use YouTube, Vimeo or any other video hosting site. Why not have your own Film Fest? Or a Scary Midnight Special? Or a Sci-Fi weekend? You can watch music videos, concerts, cartoons, private home movies... or anything. Your cinema has special sofa seats that have built-in poses for you and your friends. Or perhaps you want to play a romantic film for just you and someone special... Anything is possible.

Your free tickets are in the foyer, go and help yourself!

The Foyer
Walk through the doors of the Holodeck and into the foyer of your own private cinema. There's plenty of free popcorn and cola. The film posters are a mixture of old classics and the latest blockbusters. There's a glamorous, Hollywood-style rest-room at the end of the foyer, just in case it's needed during a long film. Touch the door to open/close.

Go through the exit at the far end of the foyer and then go up the stairs to the exclusive balcony...

The Cinema Screen.
The screen is a massive iMax screen with surround sound. It displays an interactive home screen along with a set of video links to get you started. The cinema screen is also an internet browser. All the instructions you need to know are right there on the cinema screen in a series of interactive menus. You can maximize the video it will fit the full size cinema screen! You can even pause and rewind it.

The Luxury Cinema Seats.
Upstairs in the balcony, you will find three luxury sofa seats. Each one has three seating positions - There's some in the seats, more in the base and others on the cushions. Each position had nine poses built in. So it's even possible to have nine people sitting on all three sofas all in a different pose - great for taking a group photo of your audience without repeated poses!

The Private Cinema is a blend of mesh, sculptures and phantoms making a total of a 46 land impact. As with all the Exosphere holodeck scenes, everything gets cleared away when you select "clear" from the Holo-deck menu.

Installing your Holo-Deck Scene
To install your new scene, rezz the Scene Install box next to your Holo-Deck controls. Then touch the Scene Installer panel on the Holo-deck. The scene will install itself automatically.

Please note: You need to install this in the Exosphere Holodeck, so make sure that you've already got it. Also, the cinema screen requires the sim you're in to have streaming media turned on.
