The Farmhouse is one of the newer additions from by Dorian and is by far our most feature rich prefab to date. The house is 116 LI and has a footprint of roughly 23 X 25, meaning it will fit on most lots 2048 in size or larger. See below for a list of features!

The farmhouse includes:
- 2 floors with 3 or 4 bedrooms, depending on your preference
- House control system
- Working porch lights, Porch Ceiling fan / light, Bedroom lights
- Franklin style woodstove with touch on off sound
- Menu driven color change for all interior walls, as well as instructions detailing how to use your own custom colors if you'd rather.
- Solo / couples animated window seat
- Working weathervane - The horse and arrow turn with SL wind, and the direction letters can be turned in 45 degree increments on touch.

The house is yes copy / yes mod / no transfer

This home is not only suitable as "farmhouse" but IMHO generally serves the "New England" or Colonial Style. It is very detailed with fine textures (interior rooms can be tinted individually by a home controller), and the rooms are all of a reasonable size and leave much room for decoration. And if you think "OMG! 116p is not really 'low prim'" then you should consider: a comparable "New Linden Home" is usually round 250p. OK, it does not count to the NLH parcel, that helps a lot, but anyway: this house needs just 50% for a similar size. So I would second the creator (and dabbling with Blender mesh myself I know how fast you can increase the land impact): yes, it is low prim.

Minor point of critics:
- you MUST decide for the outer sidings on purchase - only the inner walls are flexible. A feature where also the outside could be tinted to the available model colors would be nice.
- There are no opening windows, nor window blinds. (but this feature would increase the LI even more, so it is actually a tradeoff)

Changing my earlier review

I still like the house. It's a terrific house. But....it can be a troublesome to edit. Some of the bells and whistles of the house can be removed if you don't want them. But the wall textures are not separate so you have to make a texture that wraps around several walls, or use solid colors. I feel like there doesn't need to be as many windows to the house. For the rest of the rooms to be so spacious the kitchen area is small in comparison. But my one major gripe is you can't re-texture the second floor's floor. You can recolor the first first and stairs, but not the second floor. Why?? And the slanted walls make furniture placement awkward. Overall I like the house, but small details could be better.
