Set up Security Online for Machess Rental Online
----------------------------------------------------
1. Place Security Online object no more than 20 m from the Rental Online object that you want to connect. Rez only one device each time.
2. Touch rental box for a menu. Click the "Connect" button to connect to the security.
3. Once Security Online is connected to a rental box, You should see its hover text change from "Off line" to "Standby", indicating security is ready to use.
4. IMPORTANT! On group land, remember to deed Security Online to land group.

How to set up scan distance and effective area
---------------------------------------------------------
The default avatar sensor range is 96 m but you may choose one from the following 4 scanning modes at any time on the configuration page.

1. Range Only
2. Same Parcel
3. Regional Space
4. Local Space

How to set up Security Online to access multi-scene rezzers for your tenants
------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. While in Standby mode, touch Security Online object to set up multi-scene rezzers. If lease is active, you may access this feature by clicking the "Options" button on the menu at any time.

2. After the unit finishes scanning, select the rezzer by the number that you like to connect. On the same menu, you will see [N] before each rezzer number. The one you selected will change to [Y].

3. Click on the "Rez Mode" button on the menu to switch between three operation modes:

(avatar): Scene is rezzed when anyone is within range, and any avatar is able to operate the scene menu.

(rented & avatar): Scene is rezzed only when the unit has been rented and an avatar is nearby, and any avatar is able to operate the scene menu.

(rented & tenant): Scene is rezzed only when the unit has been rented and tenant or friend is nearby. Only tenant and the avatars on the guest list are able to operate the scene menul.

4. In both (rented & avatar) and (rented & tenant) mode, security can be set up to run 10 and 20 min demo scene. Select "Demo Mode" button to enable this feature. During demo period, any avatar will be able to operate the scene menu if the unit is not rented.

5. Remember to click the "Done" button when you finish. If you forget, the new setting will not take effect until 5 mins later.

6. IMPORTANT! On Multi-scene rezzer, Rez Station, and Zeroprim Rezzer, you must select "Remote Sensor" as the sensor option and set access mode to "Rental" by clicking the "Guest" or “Access” button if you like Security Online to provide access control.

The following features are available on the online page as well as the in-world device menu when lease is active

Security Mode:

1. OFF:

Tenants won't see any warning message even an intruder is detected. Touch the security to see menu.

2. ON:

When any intruder is detected, tenants will be notified and given the options to evict, accept as guest, or click the ignore button to ignore this avatar for 1 hour.

3. AUTO:

Automatically evicts intruders that are not on the guest list. Those who granted with 1 hour temporary right will not be evicted.
